A Technology Breakthrough ELF ProTech accomplishes what many said was impossible: it significantly reduces your exposure to extremely low frequency (ELF) magnetic fields emitted by monitors - without altering internal components and without costly exotic metals. ELF ProTech is specially processed for high magnetic permeability, which means ELF magnetic fields are attracted to and absorbed by it. ELF magnetic fields are emitted by all monitors and video displays, and can be detected at a distance of several feet all around the display. ELF ProTech attracts and absorbs these magnetic fields safely to reduce your exposure. And, ELF ProTech works not just in the front of the monitor but also around the sides and back - an important benefit for small or crowded offices where you're exposed to radiation from nearby monitors as well as the one on your desk. ELF ProTech Tested by Sweden's SSI Independent tests of monitors and VDTs equipped with ELF ProTech were conducted in accordance with Sweden's strict MPR II standards for magnetic field emissions, and verified by actual testing at Sweden's National Institute of Radiation Protection (SSI). Measurements were taken at a total of 48 points around the perimeter of the test terminal, at a distance of 0.5 meter. The result was a reduction of up to 70% of the ELF magnetic radiation - typically to levels well below the MPR II benchmark level of 2.5 mG (milligauss). And, at a majority of the test points, it reduced ELF magnetic fields to below 2.0 mG.
